The Clearwater family is one of the oldest trueblood families, priding themselves of having verifiably remained pure for 21 generations.
For centuries, the Clearwaters have traded with Mundanes, despite a certain disdain for them. Considering them somewhat uncivilized primitives, they traded mostly worthless items for valuables and amassed great wealth that way.
