Visvalker

Visvalkers are individuals who possess a strong connection to the spirits of other worlds, granting them unique abilities and talents. Because of this, Visvalkers are often destined for great things, both good and bad. Many cultures throughout history have revered or feared them, and they have been the subject of countless myths and legends.

Etymology

The term "Visvalker" comes from the Tunge language and is roughly translated to "one who walks the path of wisdom".

Origin of Visvalkers

Before the advent of modern magic, witches and wizards would summon spirits from other worlds to achieve their desired effects. This practice has been largely forgotten over time, but some individuals possess strong but connection to these spirits. This connection typically exists on a subconscious level. Individuals with this connection usually cannot summon spirits without trainng, but the connection grants them heightened abilities. These individuals are called Visvalkers.

Abilities

Visvalkers have been known to display exceptional talents, such as mastering difficult spells with ease, communicating with animals, as well as possessing impressive intuition, an ability to reliably predict future events, and a deep connection and understanding of the world around them.

Despite their apparent power and potential, the existence of Visvalkers is often dismissed by skeptics as mere superstition or coincidence. Others, however, believe in the existence of Visvalkers and consider them to be an important part of the history and lore of magic.

Frequency of Occurrence

It is generally believed that there is only one Visvalker born every few generations. While there has been at least one occasion of two presumed Visvalkers living at the same time, this has not been confirmed and many believe it to be impossible.
