Glenmoor
Glennmoor is a village near the Greannmhar School of Magick, populated mostly by magical folks. It is a hidden place, accessible only by magic individuals, and Mundanes who received special permission. The current population count is around 400-450 permanent residents.
The village has a long history of magical heritage, dating back to the 13th century. The village was founded by a group of witches and wizards who sought a quiet place to practice their craft away from the persecution of non-magical folk. They considered the nearby school, which had been founded in the 12th century, a welcome protection.
Over the centuries, Glenmoor became a haven for magic users from all over Ireland. Since the 18th century, non-magical folks moved to Glenmoor. They were met with suspicion at first, but eventually became an integral part of the community. Magical folk still outmatch non-magical folk in this town, but they live together peacefully.
Today, Glenmoor is a bustling little village, and one of the few mostly magical villages in Great Britain. It is home to several magic shops and businesses and a popular destination for Greannmhar students and magical tourists alike.
