Wand

While Oumar has become accustomed to use spells in the typical Western European fashion, he does not use a wand. Instead he uses what is called a "thimble", a special type of focus worn on a finger, crafted by Tuareg artificers. The thimble covers most of the finger and has joints similar to the finger of a plate glove and is made from silver and gold and is adorned with complex geometric patterns. Such thimbles are unique to the Tuareg magic culture.
