Archibald Whiskerton
Archibald Whiskerton (*1958) is a Rattus faber and teacher at the Greannmhar School of Magick. He has an incredible intellect and an innate understanding of magical history.
Personality
Despite his small stature, Archibald exudes a friendly and welcoming presence that puts people at ease. Archibald is passionate about history and enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge with others. He is a gifted storyteller, using his quick wit and engaging personality to captivate his audience.
Appearance
On first glance, Archibald resembles a rat with impeccably groomed greyish-white fur and beady black eyes. However, he carries himself with an air of dignity and pride and commands respect which common rats are typically not deserving of. He usually wears a cloak and a professor's hat, as well as golden spectacles.
Personal History
Archibald was born in the Rattus faber village in Greannmhar's cellar. From a young age, he liked to spend his spare time listening in on lessons and reading books. He was always fascinated by history and decided to become a teacher early in his life. He began to actively participate in lessons and absorbed everything he was taught. Eventually he became a teaching apprentice and began teaching at Greannmhar as an Adept, until he was raised into the rank of Master. He has been teaching magical history at the school for over 30 years.
Teaching at Greannmhar
Archibald teaches Magical History. At 65 years, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about the subject matter and has honed his teaching skills, making him an engaging and knowledgeable instructor in the subject. Although Rattus faber typically do not use Magi titles, he was granted the honorary rank of Master.
Being a relatively small creature, Archibald has had to come up with creative ways to capture the attention of his students. To help him in this task, he uses a magical amplification charm to project his voice when necessary. This charm allows his voice to resonate throughout the classroom, ensuring every student can hear him clearly.
Additionally, he possesses a small, silver post horn-like instrument that he plays to regain order in the classroom when students become unruly. If necessary, the enchanted post horn can emit a powerful, high-pitched sound that can momentarily stun those who hear it.
Despite his small stature, Master Whiskerton is an engaging and captivating teacher. He has a vast knowledge of magical history, having studied it for several decades, which allows him to share unique insights and accounts of historical events. His passion for the subject is contagious, and many students find themselves enthralled by his storytelling abilities.
