Animism

Animism is the belief that all things, including inanimate objects, possess a spirit or soul. In animistic beliefs, everything in nature is considered to be alive and imbued with a spirit or essence that makes it unique. This includes not only living beings such as animals, plants, and humans, but also rocks, rivers, mountains, and other natural phenomena. Animistic beliefs often involve a deep respect for nature and a sense of interconnectedness between all living and non-living things. Animism has been found in many cultures around the world and is considered to be one of the oldest forms of religious belief.
