Man riding a dragon kite

Dragon kites (also called Longfen-yun, in Mandarin: 龙凤云 lóng fèng yún, in Cantonese: 龍鳳雲, lung4 fung6 wan4) are a form of transporation that has been used by Chinese witches and wizards for a long time. These kites are summoned by the use of a specially crafted talisman, which serves as a conduit to call forth the dragon spirits to imbue the kite with magical energy. The kite itself is made of the finest silk and bamboo, and is intricately decorated with colorful scales and patterns to resemble a dragon in flight. Once the kite is summoned, the witch or wizard can ride on the back of the kite as it soars through the air, carried along by the dragon's magic. The use of these Renchanted kites dates back centuries in Chinese magical tradition, and is said to have been developed by ancient sorcerers who sought to harness the power of dragons to aid in their travels and battles against evil spirits.
