Modern Magic

Modern Magic generally refers to the use of spells, or any form of directly using magic energy to create an effect.

The Anþerwelts are separated from our world through an aethereal barrier called the Veil. The frequent summoning of spirits from Anþerwelts during ancient times has weakened the Veil over time, making it porous. This allows energies from Anþerwelts to permeate into our world, which some humans are able to use to cast spells and other forms of magic.
